Customizing Your Promotional Items
We utilize the most appropriate method for decorating your promotional items, based on the item surface and materials. Decorating methods include:
» Screen printing is a wet process used to decorate flat surfaces. Screen printing can be used to decorate plastic, glass, metal, wooden, or ceramic parts.
» Pre-printed graphics-usually multi-colored-are applied by heat transfer printing. This dry decorating method uses controlled heat, dwell and pressure to thermally bond the graphic onto the surface, achieving high quality and durability. Modern heat transfers offer excellent resistance to wear, scuff, chemicals, and ultraviolet radiation.
» Offset printing is the technology that makes most magazines and catalogs possible. A plate makes an inked impression on a rubber-blanketed cylinder, which in turn transfers it to the paper.
» Digital printing is a method of printing from disk (mac or PC) or hard copy direct to paper without the need for conventional films or plates. At speeds of up to 125 ppm black or 45 ppm of full colour, digital printing is ideal for short run, variable text documents such as direct mail pieces, price lists, manuals, handbooks, posters, catalogues, directories, leaflets etc. Laser sharp images for the price of a photocopy!
» Embroidery is the process of using a needle and thread to decorate a fabric with patterns or designs.
» The process of pad printing is the most versatile of all printing processes with its unique ability to print on three-dimensional objects and compound angles. Pad printing is limited to relatively small images compared to screen-printing. Pad printable images are usually less than 100 square inches.
» Hot stamping is a "dry" imprinting process meaning the object can be handled immediately after the stamping without fear of smearing the imprint. It is used to decorate fabric, leather, paper, wood, hard rubber, coated metal and all types of plastic.
